Kwanzaa and Midwinter Ceremony With The Flock
Reflection
I feel my partner (Damon) and I did a really good job of getting the holiday spirit out to people with the messages that we provided throughout our video. We used really good backgrounds and we also had tons of cool sounds and music that fit each holiday. I would like to have put some slideshow pictures of somethings that we talked about in our video. This would have added some imagery in our video and some excitement. I found the nice background pictures for each holiday, i wrote my lines for the script, and i editied most of the video. I helped my partner find most of the music and I helped him get down some written facts about our holidays. My partner helped me by bringing a positive attitude everyday and really contributing with great ideas for our project. If I had another chance at this project, i wouold have done some cooler things in the After Effects tab, specifically some cool titles. All in all this was a fantastic project. Damon and I were really happy on how it turned out!

Dancing in Mongolia
Reflection:
A green screen works by having a background that is one color (green) that can be replaced easily by another background or picture. The important considerations are making sure the people are centered in the shot, the lights are just right, and the surroundings are all covered by green. Some problems are the leftover glows of green when you make everything black using the effects. I thought that the after-effects was really easy and simple to use. With the directions Dr. A gave us, i was able to understand and use the after effects a lot easier. This was a good workshop.
